How to prepare filtered coffee at Hunters Coffee in Chemex?
- maximum water temperature
- approx. 30 grams for the preparation of 500 ml of filtered coffee, the coarseness of grinding is about like coarsely ground pepper :) = medium coarse grinding
- insert the Chemex filter, which is rinsed with hot water. We also rinse the container
- pour the coffee into the filter and bend it slightly with the container - this will spread the coffee well
- we brew coffee about 1/3 of boiling water
- after 30 seconds, slowly pour in the water in a circular motion, if possible constantly at all times.
The total extraction time should be about 4 minutes.
Hunters Coffee barista type
The taste of coffee greatly affects the roughness of grinding.
- coffee has a weak body, try to grind the coffee a little finer and reduce the coffee to water ratio
- the coffee is too bitter, grind it a little more coarsely and increase the coffee to water ratio
